Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove, Sacred Grove - A Hidden Object Detective Game App Reviews

I liked the game, and mostly enjoyed playing it, but problems with the controls made it frustrating. The image moves around the screen on my phone, I had to scroll to find buttons, had trouble getting it to respond to tapping, and the puzzle games were nearly impossible. In most of them the info button obscured the hint button. I had to skip several because the controls didnt work. With these problems fixed I would give it four stars: it had very nice graphics and voice overs, and a good length.

Its too hard on iPhone to get to the images. Its too jerky, the screen jumps around a lot. I will buy it for my iPad.

Two of my biggest issues was that picking items up to use them was often difficult. Also, while I loved the puzzles, making them a little more intuitive wouldve helped so as to not need to use hints so much. However, what I liked most about this game was that it had two bonus chapters! Thats a great value, and something I havent seen before.

The touch screen not working to start game

Im having the same problem. Cant skip through the intro, the letters to type my name are whacked and you cant even hit okay. So I havent even got to start yet. Please fix!!!

I absolutely loved this game. The puzzle within a puzzles are an awesome concept, plus I loved the extras, like finding the houses, and the jigsaw puzzle pieces. The storyline and length were great. The only reason I didnt give this five stars is because it was obviously designed for a bigger screen (iPhone 6 maybe, and I have a 5s) and every time you touch the screen it jerks around up and down. It made some of the puzzles more than difficult to complete and there were several times I had to skip a puzzle altogether.

I have same issue as 2 others. The touch screen is offset and you cant even type in your name correctly. Cant even hit the ok button to start game. Please Fix! I will love the game then I am sure.

Same prob as others with a 6. Tapping is nowhere on target, cant play the game. It looks pretty decent, hope they fix it soon.

This was one of the really fun ones. Good story, map, interaction. One of my faves.

This was a fun game. Gave me something to keep my mind busy while I was home sick.

I really didnt like the multiple mini games in 1 game. This is the first HO big fish game Ive seen this in(havent played any other mystery case game so not sure if its prevalent to this series) and I really was not a fan. Had to click puzzle hint just to know where to get started. Other than that it has good graphics and story. Really doesnt have a lot of HO scenes it did have plenty of going from one scene to next to find an object. 2.99 was way too much I think.

Mystery Case Files is an excellent series of games. I loved the puzzle games except for the puzzles that have multiple steps. I dont have the time or patience to sit and figure it out so Im very thankful for the walkthroughs. I hope they keep the series going.

This was a very LARGE game 1.6 gig installed size but it had good graphics, and kept my interest. Well done
